We Need Class Reunion Contact List Updates!

Now that reunions are wrapping up for the year, we need the reunion committees to submit their contact list updates to the Jordan Alumni Association so we can update our records and provide you with as accurate a list as possible for your next reunion.

Please send your updated lists to:

ATTENTION 2009 Class Reunion Committees!!!

We're already halfway through January and we haven't heard any news about this year's class reunions. Please make sure you post your reunion information at JordanAlumni.com so it can appear there and on our website.

Do this as soon as possible to give your classmates ample time (especially those coming in from out-of-town) to plan and prepare to attend.

Posting your reunion information on our alumni sites will get your reunion information in the major search engines in a matter of days and will help draw classmates to you; easing the burden on your committee to track everyone down.

We also recommend you create groups on sites like Facebook and MySpace as many of your classmates can be found there and you can communicate easily with them through these sites.

(The Jordan High Alumni Association is not responsible for content on websites outside of our domain.)

If planning hasn't started for your class reunion this year, please contact us using our Feedback Form and we can attempt to get you in touch with past committee members.

Alumni Basketball Night 2008

Some of you may be aware, that every Spring, the Jordan High School Alumni Association has an Alumni Basketball game/auction night. The purpose of this game is to try and raise money to sponsor ten scholarships for Jordan High students, who otherwise would not receive financial help for their college education.

Alumni Basketball Night
25 April 2008
7:00pm

Honoring
Ben Cutler
Class of 1956

The Alumni play against the current seniors and an outstanding Alumnus is honored during the game, as well. This year's honoree is Ben Cutler, Class of 1956. The game will be held on April 25th at Jordan High School at 7:00 p.m. The association would like to extend an invitation for you to attend and also request that you help support this worthy cause, by donating your services or your businesses services for the auction. This could be in the form of items, gift baskets, gift certificates, etc. There are those of you who experience in cutting hair, nails, electrical work, graphics or copying, teaching a skill, sell or promote products, toy share, own cabins, cook or bake (one dessert or dinner a month for 6 months to a year), promote parties (school, tailgate, jewelry, pampered chef, stampin' up, etc), skilled wood craftsman, car mechanic, accounting, organizing, secretarial work, real estate, landscaping, interior/exterior home design or repair, etc. Everyone has a skill, talent, knowledge or know someone who does. Please let me know if you know someone who you think would be willing to participate and please tell everyone you know, who you think would like to attend.

Please support our auction and those students who would like to further their education. This a tax deductible donation and all those who participate will be recognized during half time, in our quarterly newsletter (where we ask all our alumni to support you if you own a business) and on our Jordan Alumni Website. The list may also be used, as a resource for our classes, as they plan their class reunions.

I will need to hear from you ASAP, preferably by Saturday the 19th. I will need to arrange to pickup items, gift certificates, etc. by the 23rd. You may ; or you can talk to me directly at: 571-8927 or cell: 792-6001. It would be impossible for this event to be such a success without businesses and people like you.

Thank you,
Laurie Pendleton Scott

In Memorium Page Updated to Utilize Alumni Association Database

We've modified our page devoted to listing alumni who have passed on. It used to be a manually maintained page, but now ties into our Alumni Database.

What this means is that there may be some inaccurate or missing information that used to be there before. We'll be comparing our old page with the new to try to bring our database up-to-speed with the old list.

In the meantime, if you see inconsistencies, please report them to us using our Feedback Form

We appreciate your patience while we fix the errors; and very much appreciate your help keeping this information up-to-date and accurate!

Contact List Help Available For Reunion Chairs

The Alumni Association now has an easier way to maintain our Alumni Database; and thanks to it, we can now provide better support to Reunion Committees for ensuring as many classmates as possible are contacted for your reunions.

Please contact us if you are a reunion chair currently planning your class reunion for the 2008 year. We will coordinate with you to provide a printed list or comma-separated list that can be opened in popular spreadsheet applications like Microsoft's Excel.

We request the reunion commitees return your updated list after your reunion so we can sync our records with yours; enabling us to always provide the most up-to-date information for your class.

Please note that the Jordan High Alumni Association goes to great lengths to ensure your privacy as an alumnus. Some of the alumni have requested their information be excluded from our directory. For those that have, your names will appear on the list given to the reunion chair; but will only show that you've opted to be excluded from the directory (no address/phone number/email/etc will be listed for you.)

We also ask that all Jordan Beetdigger Alumni continue to use the feedback form on this site to update the JHS Alumni Association with your current contact information!
